auntie & kevin daycare

So grateful to be able to spend time at home these last few months. Kevin and I flew to Worthington last night to take pictures of some twin babies and a five year old, then went out to H+J's for roast, potatoes, gravy, and corn off the cob. MMM! Holly even made scotcheroos for us! After lots of work with weddings, and church, I think it's finally time for a little abiding.

Today was a day of play and fun with the girls. We babysat and played, played, played! We had lunch at Panda House and got the feel for what it will be like to have children in a restaurant. The only thing: they were little angels. They ate all their food, said please and thank you, and were well behaved. We can only pray our kids will be this good! I took out my mom's wicker couch last night for the 5 year old photo shoot, so we busted it out again today when we shared huge lolli-pops with Presley & Madison. It was so cute watching them go to town on the sugar!

Jason took us for a ride in his '54 Chevy car. We're hoping to use this for our get-away wedding vehicle. Though we won't really be driving anywhere, it'll for sure make for a few cool photos. Plus, Holly and Jason used it for their wedding, so it's got some sentimental value for sure! We drove down to Lake Park. Presley and Madison were jumping all over the seats (taking full advantage of the fact the car had no seat belts). We stopped and got orange push-ups, saw my Uncle Lindsey, and made it back with Holly driving three on the tree. Thank you, God! :)

One of the true tests of "successful" parenting (whatever that truly is!) comes when you find out how the kids behave when you are not around! But, then you have to throw in whom the kidlets were with! Glad you had a wonderful time imagining the future...any "N"s around?
