peanut butter & jelly

Karishma is here! She made it safely last night. Her plane didn't land until midnight...we had to chat for a while, so we didn't get to bed until 2:30. So needless to say, we're tired! We're sharing a house in PV with two large dogs who woke us up this morning with their stinky breath and wet noses. But, they're cute, so it's ok. We shared a California King (which is fitting) bed last night...holy cow, that baby is huge. When we woke up, we looked out the window and could see the entire city of LA, and snow topped mountains in the distance. I could live here forever. It's incredible!

I had to work most of the day. Another 5.5 hours of meetings! Karishma found a woman online who does facials, so she enjoyed a relaxing day here in Torrance. On our way back up to Palos Verdes, we stopped by Redondo Beach so she could dunk her feet in the ocean...and that she did. She got sloshed by the waves, and got all wet! It was hilarious to watch from the dry sand! :) Then we came upon a sand message that said "soul sisters 08." We didn't write it there. It must've been a sign! We watched the sun set over the Pacific, scouted for dolphins (none in sight), and took some pictures!

After a nutritious supper of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and milk, we're watching a Hallmark movie, playing with our computers (Karishma just brought along her new mac, and I'm drooling all over it), and enjoying bowls of double chocolate brownie ice cream...half the fat of course! After the last couple of stressful weeks, we're both perfectly fine with putting our feet up and doing absolutely nothing! We're heading into the big city tomorrow, so we need rest to build up our strength for some shopping fun!
