9:00 a.m. Mom and Paul arrived. My final visitors of this internship. There have been a lot of final things happening lately. This was a happy one. It's so great to 
see them! Our day was action packed from the moment they got in Vera. We rushed down to the fashion district for sunglasses, a purse for my sister, a few scarves, and a yummy lunch at McDonald's. It was about 85 degrees in land. We were sweating our butts off. So, we hopped in the car and headed for Torrance. A quick change into shorts and we hit up the Avenues. There were even a few surfers out for us to watch. It didn't take long for us to wander down far enough into the water that we got whapped by a huge wave. We were soaked. It was hilarious. Here are a few other highlights from the day:
